Description
This is a 5k family walk and run to raise money for Children At Risk. This
organisation's goal is to provide services and programs to families of
children diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum Disorders to develop their
child's behavioural, communications and social skills, and to advocate for
their ongoing needs. This is an amazing organisation. We are excited that
all proceeds will be donated to them.
Ashley Pitcher - Organizer of Puzzle Masters I am a grade 11 student and John McCrae Secondary School. Myself and two other classmates are working together to organises this family 5k walk and run, as a class project for anthropology. This is also a personal project for me, and a topic that I am very passionate about. This idea was inspired by my older brother Jacob Pitcher who has autism. Jacob has attended Children at Risk's Camp Kaleidoscope for several years and our Family has been so happy to have this Program for him. This projected is near and dear to my heart and I hope we raise lots of money to donate!
